Missibg Scenes

1. In the trailer Jack can been seen saying "You're not  fighting normal pirates. Cruel, demented, vicious pirates, to be certain...". At this point, Ragetti looks at Pintel and says, "Demented?" Jack then continues, "But cruel, demented, vicious pirates who cannot be killed." This occurs near the end of the movie in the cave. Jack is talking about Norrington's reaction. It's a what-if scenario. What Jack is saying is basically, "What if I went up to Norrington and said..." and so on.

2. Another scene they cut out but was in the trailers was near the very end. Will goes to talk to Jack in the cave while Jack is standing next to the cursed treasure. Jack reaches in and takes another coin out and becomes skeletal. He looks at Will and says, "The immortal Captain Jack Sparrow. It has a ring. Jack shrugs and drops the coin back into the chest. Will reaches down to shut the lid when it slams shut all by itself (that's the bit they show in the trailer). Then Will goes down to talk to Elizabeth. They cut that out so they could do the monkey thing at the end of the credits.

3. The scene near the end was followed by an extra part where the pirate's head talks to Will after it's been blown up. The dialogue says......

Jacoby's Head: You cheated!

Will: Well, you didn't give me much incentive to fight fair!

Obviously a throw back to what Jack said earlier and shows Will warming to the pirate lifestyle. Apparently the scene was eventually cut for being too gruesome. Well this is a Disney film after all...
